A teenager grieving over the death of his mother finds a new group of friends to hang out with after moving to live with his aunt in Baltimore.

There is something that has tormented Cristina since she was the age of her little daughter Regina and that could endanger the happiness of both of them. Because the scars of a traumatic past can be passed on to children and that is what Cristina wants to avoid at all costs but does not know how.

AIR takes place in a taxi with 60-year-old local driver, while traveling, observing and conversing intimately of the inescapable fact of life after the nuclear disaster in Fukushima. The conversation wander about the radiation, the 9.11 event, the atomic bombing of Hiroshima through a gentle outlook while mountains, ocean, devastated areas and recently restored cityscape of Soma, outside of the evacuation zone move through the mind of a search. The trees that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima evoke a hope for this inescapable and unsolvable situation.

Air is a fast-paced action adventure about falling in love at the end of the world. When all the air on the planet becomes unbreathable at a stroke, two unlikely heroes find each other as they struggle to survive.
